Resume Workshop

Most employers give an initial resume read about 15 seconds.

1. Begin the resume workshop by instructing students to bring a hardcopy resume to class.

2. Have students pass resumes up and down the aisles passing again every 15 seconds (don’t write review comments–just read).

3. Have a class discussion asking students “what did you see that you liked?” “what did you see that needs work?”
